What You Will Do
- Develop and implement engaging French lesson plans for Us Curriculum Elementary School students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance language skills
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum-wide projects and activities
- Coordinate with the exam board to ensure accurate and timely submission of student assessments and exams
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents and guardians to promote student learning and well-being
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices and innovations in French teaching
- Supervise students during break times, extracurricular activities, and field trips
- Assist with the organization and execution of school events and activities
- Develop and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, empathy, and inclusivity
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in French or a related field (B.Ed or PGCE preferred)
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a Us Curriculum Elementary School setting
- A KHDA/MOE/ADEK-approved teaching license
- IELTS 6.0+ or equivalent for non-native English speakers
- Teaching license from home country with attestation
- Police clearance certificate and attested degrees
