Ambitus World School | Vijayawada invites a dedicated PGT History teacher to join its team in Vuyyuru, Krishna. The role involves delivering engaging history lessons to senior secondary students while contributing to curriculum development and school activities.
Responsibilities
1. Design and deliver comprehensive history lessons for classes XI and XII, aligning with state board standards.
2. Prepare and update teaching materials, including lesson plans, worksheets, and multimedia resources.
3. Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
4. Mentor and support students in research projects, debates, and history clubs.
5. Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development workshops.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary projects and school events.
7. Maintain accurate attendance records, report card entries, and academic performance data.
8. Uphold school policies and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Qualification and Experience
A postgraduate degree in History is mandatory, along with a minimum of three years of teaching experience at the PGT level. Candidates should hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed and possess strong communication skills, a passion for history, and a commitment to student growth.
Salary and Location
The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs.38,000 to Rs.70,000, located in Vuyyuru, Krishna, Andhra Pradesh.
