Ambitus World School in Vijayawada is looking for an experienced school PRINCIPAL to lead its campus in Vuyyuru, Krishna, Andhra Pradesh. The role demands strategic vision, operational oversight and community engagement to uphold the school’s standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and direction for the school, setting academic and co‑curricular goals that align with the institution’s mission. Oversee daily operations, including admissions, finance, infrastructure maintenance and compliance with state education regulations.
Develop and implement policies for student welfare, safety, and discipline, ensuring a nurturing environment that supports holistic development. Lead the recruitment, appraisal and professional development of staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Drive curriculum implementation indirectly by supervising department heads, ensuring that teaching standards meet regulatory benchmarks and that innovative practices are encouraged. Conduct regular audits of academic outcomes and extracurricular programmes, taking corrective actions where needed.
Represent the school in community events, local education forums and media interactions, building strong relationships with stakeholders and enhancing the school’s reputation. Lead crisis management efforts, preparing contingency plans for emergencies and ensuring swift response.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in a school setting, preferably as vice‑principal or head of school. Post‑graduate qualification in education administration, management or a related field. Demonstrated ability to manage large teams, budgets exceeding several crores and complex operational structures.
Strong knowledge of Indian school regulations, accreditation processes and best practices in school governance. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a track record of fostering collaborative relationships with parents, staff and community leaders.
Proficiency in using management information systems and data‑driven decision making. Ability to inspire confidence, drive change and maintain high ethical standards.
Salary
Rs.90,000 – Rs.1,500,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
