Aroma English School | Bahri in Barpeta, Assam is looking for a dedicated TGT Mathematics Teacher. The role requires a full‑time commitment to delivering engaging mathematics lessons to students at the secondary level.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans that align with the state curriculum and promote conceptual understanding of mathematics.
- Conduct classroom instruction, using varied teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students grasp key concepts.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to guide improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress reports, and communicate regularly with parents and school administration.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events to contribute to a collaborative learning environment.
- Support extracurricular mathematics activities such as math clubs or competitions, encouraging student participation and enthusiasm.
Qualifications and Experience
- Post‑graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the secondary level.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong command of mathematical concepts and the ability to explain them clearly to students.
Compensation and Location
- Salary range: Rs.15,000 – Rs.30,000 per month.
