Chemistry (TGT) Vacancy in Dibrugarh East, Dibrugarh, Assam
Delhi Public School | Dibrugarh
Job Description
Delhi Public School in Dibrugarh East invites applications for the role of a TGT Chemistry Teacher. This is a full-time position aimed at shaping young minds with a strong foundation in scientific principles. Your responsibility will be to deliver engaging and conceptually sound lessons in Chemistry, ensuring students grasp both theoretical concepts and practical applications.
As a TGT Chemistry Teacher here, you will conduct classes for students in grades 11 and 12. Your teaching will cover topics like organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and physical chemistry, tailored to the curriculum set by the Assam Board. The classroom environment will be interactive, encouraging discussions, experiments, and hands-on learning where possible.
Your daily tasks will include lesson planning, preparing teaching aids like slides, worksheets, and lab demonstrations (where applicable). You will assess student understanding through quizzes, projects, and periodic tests. Chemistry is more than just memorization—it’s about making connections between ideas, so your approach should emphasize critical thinking and real-world relevance.
Student interaction is key. You’ll need to adapt your teaching style to different learning speeds, address individual queries, and foster a supportive atmosphere. Chemistry can be abstract, so breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable examples will be crucial. Collaborating with the science department to align lessons with broader educational goals will also be part of your role.
Assessment practices will focus on evaluating both knowledge retention and problem-solving skills. You may design assignments that require students to apply chemistry principles to everyday scenarios, reinforcing their understanding. Feedback sessions will be regular, helping students identify areas for improvement while encouraging them to ask questions confidently.
This role offers a salary of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 45,000 per month, with the potential for growth based on performance and contributions to the school’s academic excellence. If you are passionate about chemistry education and enjoy creating dynamic learning experiences, this opportunity aligns well with your career goals.
