Sainik School | Goalpara seeks a dedicated TGT Sanskrit Teacher to enrich its academic curriculum with classical language expertise. This role is vital for fostering cultural heritage and linguistic proficiency among students in a disciplined, military-inspired environment.
Develop and deliver engaging Sanskrit lessons aligned with the school’s syllabus, ensuring high standards of language acquisition and critical thinking. Prepare and evaluate classroom assessments to track student progress in grammar, literature, and composition. Collaborate with the Sanskrit department to design extracurricular activities, such as recitals, debates, and cultural events, to deepen students’ appreciation of the subject. Maintain detailed records of student performance and submit regular progress reports to the principal. Ensure compliance with school policies on academic integrity and subject-specific teaching guidelines. Act as a mentor to guide younger students in Sanskrit, particularly those new to the language.
A postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Four years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required. Experience in integrating traditional Sanskrit texts with modern pedagogy is a plus.
