Job Description
PRT Mathematics Teacher – Aarya Mission School | Araria
Teaching
Conduct classroom teaching of Mathematics for primary classes as per the school curriculum, using interactive methods to engage young learners. Prepare and deliver lesson plans that cater to diverse learning abilities and ensure concepts are clearly understood.
Planning & Resources
Develop teaching aids, worksheets and visual tools to support mathematical concepts. Coordinate with senior staff to align teaching materials with school standards and upcoming assessments.
Assessment
Design and administer class tests, quizzes and assignments to evaluate student progress. Provide timely feedback and maintain records of student performance for parental review.
Student Support
Identify students needing additional help and offer remedial sessions or one‑on‑one guidance. Encourage a positive attitude towards Mathematics and foster a supportive classroom environment.
Coordination & Administration
Participate in staff meetings, parent‑teacher interactions and school events. Maintain attendance registers, lesson logs and other required documentation accurately.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in any discipline. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is essential; TET/CTET qualification preferred. Minimum three years of teaching experience in Mathematics at the primary level.
Experience
At least 3 years of full‑time teaching Mathematics in a school setting, demonstrating effective classroom management and student engagement.
Salary
Rs.18,000 - Rs.30,000 per month
