Vivekanand Mission School in Aurangabad is seeking an experienced PGT Geography Teacher to join its dynamic academic team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality geography education, blending theoretical knowledge with practical field studies relevant to Bihar’s diverse landscapes.
The successful candidate will develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate local geography—such as Aurangabad’s historical sites, agricultural practices, and water resources—while ensuring alignment with national curriculum standards. Field trips, map work, and resource-based learning will be key components of the teaching methodology.
Responsibilities include conducting geography classes, grading assignments, and preparing students for competitive exams like NEET or state-level entrance tests. Collaborating with the geography department to organize workshops on climate change, conservation efforts, and regional geography will also be part of the role.
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in geography is mandatory. Two years of teaching experience in geography, preferably at the secondary level, is required. Strong subject knowledge, innovative teaching techniques, and a passion for environmental education are essential.
