Role Summary
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Hindi to students from Class 9 to Class 12, using a range of teaching methods and resources to engage and motivate learners.
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in school events and activities, such as parent-teacher meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school fairs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
- Manage classrooms and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure that everyone is informed and involved.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and improve teaching skills.
Required Qualifications
- A post-graduate degree in Hindi or a related field (e.g. M.A. Hindi, M.A. Literature, etc.).
- A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized Indian university.
- Experience of teaching Hindi to students from Class 9 to Class 12.
- A strong commitment to teaching and learning, and a passion for making a positive impact on students' lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
