Role Summary
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Sanskrit to students from Class 6 to 12, using a range of teaching methods and materials to engage and motivate learners.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to meet the needs of students and the curriculum requirements.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve student outcomes and academic achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum, and to share best practices in teaching and learning.
- Participate in school events, such as parent-teacher conferences and cultural festivals, to engage with parents and the wider community.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance, and submit reports as required.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Sanskrit education and curriculum, and contribute to the development of new resources and materials.
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed. or equivalent post-graduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field.
- B.A. or M.A. in Sanskrit with a minimum of 50% marks.
- CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) certification.
- Proficiency in teaching Sanskrit to students from Class 6 to 12.
- 2 years of experience in teaching Sanskrit in a school or educational institution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
