Job Overview

What You Will Do

- Own and implement the Biology curriculum at Adwaita Mission Group Of Institutions, ensuring it is in line with state and national standards.
- Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them improve their teaching skills and classroom management.
- Analyze and improve board results for Biology, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance student performance.
- Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning resources for Biology, including lesson plans, assessments, and materials.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of Science subjects and promote interdisciplinary learning.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with school goals and objectives.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to discussions on curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and assessment strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders, including universities, research institutions, and industry leaders.
- Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with state and national standards.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced teacher with a postgraduate degree in Biology and a B.Ed. qualification. NET or SET certification is preferred but not essential. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school is required, with a proven track record of achieving excellent results in Biology.
