Maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and subject-wise performance metrics. Act as a mentor to students struggling with science concepts, offering one-on-one guidance and additional resources. Ensure compliance with school policies on discipline, attendance, and extracurricular activities while maintaining a supportive classroom environment.
Qualifications
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate degree in Science (B.Sc., M.Sc., or equivalent) from a recognized university. Possess a valid TET/CTET certificate for teaching in government and private schools in Bihar. Strong command of English and Hindi is essential for effective communication with students and parents. Familiarity with digital learning tools and educational software is a plus.
Experience
Proven experience of at least two years as a TGT Science Teacher in a school setting, preferably in Bihar or similar regions. Experience teaching students from classes 9 to 12 with a focus on practical and experimental learning. Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning abilities and cultural backgrounds. Familiarity with school administration processes, including attendance tracking and reporting. Experience organizing school events or science clubs would be advantageous.
