The Cambridge School is looking for a PRT Mathematics Teacher to deliver structured, concept-driven lessons to Grades 1 to 5 in Darbhanga Sadar. Pedagogy and Tools

Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver daily Mathematics periods with clear learning objectives aligned to NCERT syllabus. Create weekly worksheets and conduct oral drills to reinforce mental math skills. Assess students through short quizzes and anecdotal records rather than formal examinations. Organize math corners with puzzles, charts, and measurement tools for self-learning. Prepare monthly progress reports highlighting conceptual gaps and remedial steps. Collaborate with PRT team for cross-subject integration, especially with EVS. Participate in subject-specific training sessions organized by The Cambridge School. Maintain neat records of lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment data.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in Mathematics or a related field with minimum 50% marks. Two years of classroom teaching experience at primary level. B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution. TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Skills
Strong ability to simplify complex topics such as fractions, geometry, and data handling for young learners. Familiarity with activity-based learning and the use of locally available materials for math teaching. Good communication skills in Hindi and English to explain concepts clearly to diverse learners.
What You Get
