Music (PRT) Vacancy in Tekari, Gaya, Bihar
Divine Child Junior School
Job Description
About This Role
Divine Child Junior School uses smart boards, cloud-based lesson plans, and real-time attendance tracking to keep every classroom connected. This PRT Music Teacher Vacancy in Gaya is open for a full-time music educator who can blend traditional melody with digital tools.
How You Will Teach
Classes at Divine Child Junior School run on Google Classroom and a custom LMS where sheet music, audio clips, and video lessons are shared before the period begins. Lessons are projected on smart boards so every student sees both notation and finger placement simultaneously.
What You Will Do
Create weekly lesson bundles in the LMS that include Carnatic and Western notation, practice tracks, and short theory quizzes for self-assessment. Record short feedback videos after each class and upload them on Google Classroom so parents can follow progress in real time.
Use free online tuners and metronomes during live sessions so students can check pitch and rhythm without extra hardware. Curate playlists of regional folk tunes from Bihar and Jharkhand and share them with students for cultural connection.
Plan end-of-term virtual concerts where students perform pieces they have practised in class, streamed live to parents and uploaded to the school YouTube channel. Maintain a digital attendance and participation log in the school ERP so reports are ready for mid-term reviews.
Coordinate with the art and dance departments to plan annual cultural events, ensuring music segments align with visual and movement components.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in Music with minimum 3 years of classroom teaching experience in primary sections. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory; TET/CTET preferred but not compulsory.
