Role
Teach Economics to students in classes 9 to 12, designing engaging lesson plans that blend theory with case studies relevant to Bihar’s economic landscape. Develop and assess unit-wise projects, such as budgeting simulations or market analysis projects, to reinforce classroom learning. Collaborate with the Economics department to align syllabus content with latest CBSE/State Board guidelines, ensuring curriculum relevance.
Qualification
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate diploma in Economics from a recognized university. Possess a strong academic background in economics, including advanced topics like international trade, monetary policy, and development economics. Experience in teaching economics at the secondary school level is highly valued.
Experience
Four years of teaching experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a school environment. Familiarity with CBSE/State Board Economics syllabus and methods of teaching economic concepts to diverse student backgrounds is essential. Experience in using digital tools for virtual classrooms or online assessments is a plus.
Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000, along with standard school perks such as transport allowances and professional development opportunities.
