Role
The position is for a TGT Social Science Teacher at R M Public School, catering to classes IX and X in Barauli, Gopalganj. It is a full‑time School TGT Social Science Opening that involves delivering the Social Science curriculum as per the Bihar Board guidelines.
What will I actually do?
You will plan and conduct lessons in History, Geography, Civics and Economics, using textbooks and locally relevant examples such as the cultural festivals of Gopalganj. Preparing worksheets, project work and field trips to nearby heritage sites will be part of daily routine. Assessment of students through tests, assignments and periodic exams, followed by detailed feedback, will help improve their understanding. You will also coordinate with the head of department for co‑curricular activities like debate and model parliament.
What do I need to qualify?
A postgraduate degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. Candidates having cleared TET or CTET are preferred. The role requires a clear knowledge of the Social Science syllabus for class IX‑X and the ability to communicate concepts in Hindi and English.
What experience is expected?
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting is required, preferably handling Social Science at the secondary level. Experience in preparing students for board examinations and conducting extracurricular activities will be an advantage.

The salary for this role is Rs.20,000 - Rs.35,000 per month, payable as per the school’s standard payroll policy.
