Day-to-Day Duties
As a TGT Geography Teacher, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Preparing and delivering Geography lessons to students from Class VI to Class X
- Developing and implementing engaging Geography curricula
- Conducting field trips to nearby geographical locations
- Collaborating with colleagues to integrate Geography with other subjects
- Engaging with parents and guardians to discuss student progress
- Participating in school events, such as cultural festivals and science fairs
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments
- Contributing to the development of the school's Geography department
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A postgraduate degree in Geography or a related field
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of Geography, with a focus on Indian Geography
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
