Planning and Coordination
Develop lesson plans and activity schedules that integrate physical education with broader school activities. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate sports and fitness into extracurricular programs. Organize school events, competitions, and inter-house sports tournaments to foster teamwork and sportsmanship.
Assessment and Evaluation
Monitor student progress through continuous assessments, including participation records, skill development milestones, and performance in sports events. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their physical abilities and sportsmanship. Ensure compliance with school evaluation frameworks for physical education.
Student Support and Mentorship
Act as a role model and mentor for students, encouraging healthy lifestyles and discipline. Address any concerns related to physical fitness or participation, ensuring all students have equal opportunities to engage in sports. Foster a positive and inclusive environment where students feel motivated to excel in physical activities.
This position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month, with the opportunity to contribute to a vibrant educational community in Katihar. A postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field along with 4 years of teaching experience is required.
