Role Summary
Garvi Grant Global School invites applications for a senior English department role for the position of TGT English Teacher. - Own the English curriculum, designing and implementing effective lesson plans for students from Class VI to X.
- Mentor junior teachers, guiding them in teaching methodologies and providing support in academic planning.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure interdisciplinary learning and holistic development of students.
- Analyze and interpret board results, identifying areas of improvement and developing strategies to enhance academic performance.
- Develop and implement formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning.
- Participate in staff meetings, contributing to discussions on academic policies and procedures.
- Represent the school in various academic and co-curricular activities, promoting the school's values and mission.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and teacher performance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting diversity and equity in the classroom.
Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you must have:
- A postgraduate degree in English (M.A. or M.Sc.) or a related field.
- A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in English, with a focus on secondary education.
- Preferably, a qualification in NET or SET, or equivalent certification.
- Strong subject knowledge, teaching skills, and academic leadership abilities.
