About This Role
We seek an energetic and creative NTT Mathematics Teacher for Vivek International Residential School in Madhepur, Madhubani, Bihar. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching Mathematics to young children and a knack for making complex concepts fun and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons to nursery and kindergarten students, incorporating playful learning and activity-based teaching methods.
2. Use child-friendly teaching methods to develop basic communication skills, phonics, and problem-solving abilities in students.
3. Create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters exploration, creativity, and emotional development.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Mathematics curriculum aligned with CBSE standards.
5. Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
6. Participate in school activities and events, such as Math Olympiads and parent-teacher meetings.
7. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
8. Stay updated with best practices in Mathematics education and attend professional development workshops as needed.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or related field (B.Ed, M.Ed, M.Sc)
- Completion of NTT Diploma or equivalent certification
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum and pedagogy
Good to Have
- Experience teaching Mathematics to young children (nursery to kindergarten)
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Certification in TET or CTET (not necessary but an advantage)
