Day-to-Day Duties
As a PGT Physics Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to teach Physics to students of classes 11 and 12. You will also be involved in the following activities:
* Developing and implementing lesson plans to cater to the needs of students from diverse backgrounds
* Conducting practical experiments and demonstrations to make Physics engaging and interactive
* Providing individual attention and guidance to students who require extra support
* Collaborating with colleagues to plan and deliver co-curricular activities that promote STEM education
* Engaging with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and provide feedback
* Participating in school events and activities that promote community involvement and outreach
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
* Contributing to the development of the school's curriculum and academic policies
* Mentoring junior teachers and providing guidance on best practices in Physics teaching
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
* Master's degree in Physics or a related subject
* B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
* NET or SET qualification (desirable)
* Experience of teaching Physics to students of classes 11 and 12 (minimum 3 years)
