What You Will Do
1. Conduct regular music classes for students, focusing on theoretical and practical aspects of music.
2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating various music teaching methods, to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
3. Prepare students for periodic assessments, examinations, and competitions, ensuring they are well-prepared and confident.
4. Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects, promoting a holistic approach to education.
5. Conduct regular music performances and concerts, encouraging students to showcase their talents and build confidence.
6. Develop and maintain a well-organized and inclusive music classroom environment, promoting a sense of community and respect among students.
7. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and achievements.
Required Qualifications
* Postgraduate degree in Music (M.A. Music) or equivalent
* B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
* NET or SET qualification (desirable)
* Valid CTET or TET certification (not necessary)
* Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Music, preferably in a residential school setting
Preferred Skills
* Strong musical knowledge and performance skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Familiarity with Indian classical music and folk music traditions
Salary and Benefits
