TGT Chemistry Teacher Job in Patna, Bihar | School Recruitment
Job Summary
Birla Open Minds School is looking for a dedicated TGT Chemistry Teacher in Patna, Bihar to deliver engaging classroom sessions for classes IX to XII. The role involves planning lessons, conducting practical experiments and assessing student progress in line with the state curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver Chemistry lessons that meet the standards of the Bihar Board and NCERT. Conduct laboratory work safely, preparing reagents and supervising students during experiments. Evaluate assignments, quizzes and examinations, providing constructive feedback to help learners improve. Participate in departmental meetings and school events, contributing ideas for curriculum enrichment.
Required Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Chemistry with B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. Candidates should have cleared TET/CTET and possess at least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting. Strong command of English and Hindi is essential for effective communication with students and parents.
Experience & Skills
Minimum two years of experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level, preferably in a co‑educational environment. Ability to simplify complex concepts, manage a laboratory safely and use digital tools for interactive learning. Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage with the school community.
Salary & Benefits
The position offers a salary range of Rs.20,000 - Rs.42,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include transport allowance, professional development support and access to school facilities.
