About This Role
This is a full-time Post Graduate Teacher position dedicated to Economics for Classes XI and XII. The role requires designing lesson plans aligned with CBSE guidelines and preparing students for board examinations. You will also guide commerce stream students in project work and practical assignments.
What You Will Do
Plan and deliver engaging Economics lessons covering microeconomics, macroeconomics, and statistics.
Prepare term-wise unit tests and sample papers with answer keys for Classes XI and XII.
Organize mock interviews for commerce students to build confidence in viva voce exams.
Conduct regular doubt-clearing sessions before unit tests and final exams.
Coordinate with the commerce lab in-charge for hands-on data analysis exercises.
Mentor students during Commerce Week for market survey projects.
Attend monthly staff meetings and contribute to departmental lesson plan reviews.
Update the Economics notice board with current economic events and exam alerts.
Eligibility Criteria
Post Graduate degree in Economics with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with Economics as a teaching subject.
Two years of teaching experience in senior secondary Economics for Classes XI and XII.
TET/CTET qualification is an added advantage but not mandatory.
