Physical Education (PGT) Vacancy in Samastipur, Bihar
St Josph Public School
Job Description
About This Role
St Josph Public School integrates smart boards in every sports hall and uses Google Classroom for PE lesson plans, fitness logs, and skill drills. Each Physical Education Teacher Job in Samastipur is expected to upload video demonstrations of yogasanas and athletic techniques to our LMS for students to review before practice sessions. The school runs a blended learning model where theory on anatomy and sports psychology is delivered online, freeing up field time for actual play.
How You Will Teach
Lessons will be projected on smart boards for entire classes to see technique breakdowns in real time. You will assign fitness challenges through Google Classroom, where students upload their performance videos for peer review and self-assessment. The LMS hosts animated drills that students can slow down or repeat, ensuring mastery of complex skills like javelin grip or hurdle clearance.
What You Will Do
Create weekly micro-modules on LMS covering rules of new games introduced in the school calendar, embedding quizzes that auto-grade and sync with the sports notice board.
Host live Zoom sessions for inter-house tournaments when weather forces indoor play, broadcasting scores and replays instantly on smart boards.
Maintain a digital fitness passport for every child, tracking BMI, flexibility, and endurance through Google Forms that feed into a dashboard visible to parents.
Design QR codes on the playground that link to video tutorials for warm-up routines, injury prevention, and cool-down stretches.
Use motion-capture apps to analyze gait and posture during running drills, sharing side-by-side comparisons with students on smart boards.
Run a weekly podcast on LMS titled “Sports Science Saturdays,” interviewing local athletes and physiotherapists for students to listen during travel time.
Collaborate with the IT department to integrate wearable fitness bands with the school’s attendance and health monitoring system.
Train student reporters to film and edit highlights of inter-school matches, uploading them to the school YouTube channel within two hours of the final whistle.
Who Can Apply
Post-graduate in Physical Education with a minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience in a school. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory; TET or CTET will be preferred during shortlisting. Candidates with experience in blended learning environments will receive priority.
What Makes You a Fit
Familiarity with Google Workspace, LMS platforms like Moodle or Canvas, and basic video editing tools is essential. You should be comfortable troubleshooting smart board connectivity and guiding students through online submissions of fitness logs. Digital literacy is not optional—it is part of the curriculum you will deliver.
Perks and Pay
The Physical Education Teacher Recruitment in Bihar at St Josph Public School offers a monthly salary between Rs.30,000 and Rs.55,000 based on experience and certifications. In addition, you will receive subsidized meals in the staff cafeteria, free access to the school gym and swimming pool, and annual professional development support for attending national-level sports pedagogy workshops.
