We invite an experienced PRT Computer Science Teacher to join City Central School in Samastipur, Bihar as a senior member of our teaching team. As a Computer Science department head, you will be responsible for leading the department, mentoring junior staff, and driving academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Computer Science department and contribute to the overall academic strategy of City Central School
- Develop and implement innovative Computer Science curricula, ensuring alignment with state and national standards
- Teach Computer Science to students from classes 6 to 10, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
- Mentor and guide junior staff members, providing constructive feedback and support for professional development
- Ensure effective classroom management, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate Computer Science into the broader curriculum
- Develop and implement assessments, projects, and evaluations to measure student learning and progress
- Analyze and utilize data to inform teaching practices and improve student outcomes
- Foster partnerships with local industries and organizations to provide students with real-world learning experiences
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- NET or SET in Computer Science or a related subject is preferred
- Strong understanding of Computer Science curricula and pedagogy
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
