Role Summary
Dayawanti Punj Model School, a premier educational institution in Sitamarhi, Bihar, is seeking a full-time PGT Physics Teacher to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for imparting high-quality Physics education to our students using a blend of traditional and modern teaching methods.
Pedagogy and Tools
The ideal candidate should be familiar with and able to effectively utilize modern teaching tools such as smart boards, Google Classroom, and Learning Management Systems (LMS). We emphasize blended learning, and the successful candidate should be able to integrate technology into their teaching practices to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver Physics lessons to students in grades 9-12
- Prepare and administer tests, quizzes, and exams to assess student progress
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs
- Utilize digital tools such as SMART boards and Google Classroom to engage students
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum changes
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and professional development workshops
- Conduct remedial classes for students requiring additional support
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in extracurricular activities and events related to Physics
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Physics or related field (MSc)
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed with TET or CTET preferred
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Physics curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
