The successful candidate will be expected to use practical methods and tools to teach Geography, including the use of maps, globes, and other visual aids. They will also be responsible for planning and conducting field trips and lab activities to enhance student learning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching Geography to classes VI to XII
2. Developing and implementing lesson plans in accordance with the school's curriculum
3. Conducting regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress
4. Providing individual support to students who require extra help
5. Collaborating with other teachers to plan and coordinate interdisciplinary projects
6. Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
7. Participating in school events and activities related to Geography
8. Updating their knowledge and skills to stay current with developments in the field of Geography
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must possess a post-graduate degree in Geography or a related field (M.A. Geography). A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree is also required. Preference will be given to candidates who have passed the CTET or TET examination.
