PRT Music Teacher Position at Delhi Public School, Basantpur
Delhi Public School in Basantpur seeks a dedicated PRT Music Teacher to inspire young minds with music education. Plan and prepare lesson plans that incorporate singing, rhythm, and basic music theory, tailored to different grade levels. Collaborate with the music department to organize school events, performances, and extracurricular activities that highlight musical talent. Teach fundamental music skills such as note reading, simple instruments (e.g., keyboard, percussion), and basic composition techniques. Assess student progress through practical demonstrations and encourage teamwork in group performances. Ensure all teaching materials, instruments, and resources are available and well-maintained for smooth class execution.
A graduate degree in Music Education or a related field is essential. Holding a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is highly preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is an added advantage. Three years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is required to bring practical insights to the role.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.16,000 to Rs.32,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience.
