Prepare students for board exams with focused revision sessions, sample papers, and interactive discussions on regional and national topics relevant to Chhattisgarh.
Introduce project-based learning activities such as local heritage walks, map-making competitions, and civic participation projects to enhance conceptual understanding. Coordinate with the school administration to organize inter-house Social Science quizzes, debates, and exhibitions during annual events.
Collaborate with the school leadership on annual academic planning, including textbook selection, resource procurement, and teacher training needs for the department. Maintain accurate records of syllabus coverage, assessment schedules, and student progress for mid-year and end-of-year reviews.
Who Can Apply
Postgraduate in Social Science with B.Ed from a recognized Indian university. Minimum 5 years of full-time teaching experience as a TGT Social Science Teacher in a secondary school environment. NET or SET qualified candidates will be given preference during shortlisting.
Prior experience in curriculum planning, student mentoring, or academic coordination within a CBSE or state board school setting is desirable. Familiarity with Chhattisgarh’s academic culture and local teaching resources is an added advantage.
