Ham Academy Higher Secondary School in Jagdalpur, Bastar, invites applications for a dedicated PRT Dance Teacher to enrich the cultural and artistic development of our students. Daily responsibilities include conducting structured dance classes, ensuring students follow proper techniques and safety measures. You will also prepare and maintain dance-related learning materials, such as choreography sheets and props, to support classroom activities. Daily classroom management tasks, like monitoring student behavior and addressing minor issues, are also part of the role.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle involve planning and implementing term-based dance festivals and performances. Collaborating with other teachers to integrate dance into interdisciplinary projects is essential. You will assess student progress through practical evaluations and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
Periodic responsibilities include organizing parent-teacher meetings to discuss dance achievements and areas for growth. Maintaining updated records of student participation and attendance in dance activities is also required. Occasionally, you may assist in organizing cultural events or workshops to promote dance as a community activity.
To qualify, a graduate degree is mandatory, with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification preferred. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in dance or related subjects, is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly beneficial for career advancement.
