What You Will Do
Plan and deliver Social Science lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for middle school. Use locally relevant examples from Chhattisgarh’s history, geography, and culture to make lessons engaging. Differentiated instruction will be required to accommodate students at different proficiency levels.
Prepare teaching aids using charts, maps, and digital resources to explain concepts like landforms, economic activities, and constitutional values. Conduct regular formative assessments through quizzes, group discussions, and project work on topics such as freedom struggle and environmental conservation.
Provide remedial support to students who struggle with analytical topics like political systems or economic theories. Collaborate with special educators to adapt materials for students with learning difficulties in the inclusive setup.
Organize co-curricular activities such as debates on social issues and model-making competitions on historical monuments. Encourage students to present their understanding through presentations and written assignments in Hindi and English.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and student progress reports. Participate in monthly staff meetings and subject-specific workshops organized by Delhi Public School, Dhamtari.
Who Can Apply
