Job Overview
Position is for a full-time Primary Teacher (PRT) in Music for classes 1 to 5. You will teach 20 weekly periods under the Chhattisgarh State Board syllabus. The role starts with a three-month probation focusing on lesson delivery and student engagement metrics. After confirmation, you can lead school bands and choirs in inter-school competitions.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver structured music lessons aligned to State Board themes for ages 6–11.
Conduct weekly choir rehearsals and prepare students for annual Tamnar cultural day.
Assess pupils through practical exams and maintain progress portfolios on the school ERP.
Organize rhythm workshops using indigenous instruments like dholak and manjira.
Collaborate with art teachers to link ragas with visual art projects.
Prepare students for district-level music fairs held in Raigarh.
Document lesson plans and share weekly reflections with the HOD Music.
Attend monthly staff meetings and contribute to curriculum review sessions.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must hold a post-graduate degree in Music with B.Ed or M.Ed from a UGC-recognized university. Minimum three years classroom experience in Indian school settings is required.
