- Prepare and administer periodic assessments, quizzes, and exams to evaluate students' understanding of Biology concepts.
- Develop and implement a range of activities, projects, and experiments that promote hands-on learning and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the school's Biology curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.
- Provide support and guidance to students who require extra help or have special needs.
- Participate in school activities, such as science fairs, exhibitions, and competitions, to promote Biology education and showcase student work.
- Develop and implement a range of resources, including worksheets, activities, and multimedia presentations, to support student learning.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and achievement.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge of Biology.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology or a related subject, such as Zoology, Botany, or Environmental Science. A post-graduate degree in Biology will be considered an asset. You should also have a valid B.Ed. degree and be certified to teach Biology in Chhattisgarh. Experience teaching Biology in a school setting is essential, and teaching experience in a co-educational school is preferred.
