TGT Music Teacher Job in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh

Role Summary
As a TGT Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music to students from diverse learning levels in an inclusive classroom in Raigarh. You will play a key role in shaping the musical talents of our students and helping them develop a lifelong appreciation for music.
Your Students
Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds and have varying learning needs. You will work with students who require differentiated instruction and support, including those with special needs, English language learners, and students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Your classroom will be an inclusive space where all learners feel welcome and valued.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students from diverse learning levels in Raigarh
- Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that fosters creativity and self-expression
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including those with special needs and English language learners
- Use technology to enhance music instruction and engage students in the learning process
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement comprehensive music programs
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in music education
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive music curriculum for the school
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Music or a related field (M.A., M.Sc.)
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. from a recognized institution
- NET/SET qualification in Music or a related field
- TET is not required for this post; however, CTET qualification is desirable
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a TGT Music Teacher in a reputable school
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
