Job Overview
Uttam International School in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, is seeking a skilled TGT Music Teacher to join our Music Department. As a TGT Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Music to students from 6th to 10th standard.

How You Will Teach (specific to Music — practical methods, tools, lab or activity work)
You will use a variety of teaching methods, including practical music sessions, music theory classes, and audio-visual presentations to engage students and promote music learning. Our school has a well-equipped Music Room with instruments and equipment to support music education. You will also use technology, such as music software and apps, to enhance the learning experience.

Day-to-Day Duties
1. Prepare and deliver Music lessons to students from 6th to 10th standard.
2. Assess student progress and provide feedback to help students improve their music skills.
3. Plan and conduct Music activities, such as concerts and performances, to promote student engagement and creativity.
4. Develop and maintain a Music library of songs, scores, and other music-related materials.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Music with other subjects, such as English and Social Science.
6. Participate in Music Department meetings to plan and discuss curriculum, assessments, and other Music-related issues.
7. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and other relevant information.
8. Conduct periodic assessments and academic coordination with the Music Department to ensure student progress and achievement.

Required Qualifications
You should have a Master's degree in Music (M.A. in Music) or a related field, with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree. You should also have a good understanding of music theory, history, and appreciation. Experience of teaching Music in a school setting is essential.
