About This Role
Uttam International School is looking for a dedicated TGT Sanskrit Teacher for middle and secondary classes. The role involves teaching Sanskrit language and literature to students from grades 6 to 10. Focus is on building strong foundational skills in Sanskrit grammar, vocabulary, and classical texts. The teacher will prepare students for academic assessments and cultural activities with equal emphasis.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging Sanskrit lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum.
Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback to improve student performance.
Organize classroom activities that enhance listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Sanskrit.
Prepare students for cultural programs and language competitions at school and inter-school levels.
Collaborate with subject teachers to integrate Sanskrit with other subjects where relevant.
Maintain student records, attendance, and progress reports with accuracy.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress in Sanskrit.
Contribute to school initiatives such as language weeks or heritage programs.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in Sanskrit or related field.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Sanskrit for grades 6 to 10.
Proficiency in spoken and written Sanskrit with strong classroom communication skills.
Good to Have
B.Ed or M.Ed with Sanskrit specialization.
Experience in CBSE schools or similar educational boards.
Familiarity with modern teaching aids and digital tools for language learning.
Preferred Skills
Ability to simplify complex Sanskrit concepts for middle school students.
Strong classroom management in a dynamic Raigarh school environment.
Experience with storytelling, chanting, and recitation methods in Sanskrit.
Willingness to participate in teacher training and curriculum development.
