What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons to students in grades 6-10, emphasizing conceptual understanding and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects that promote community involvement and social responsibility.
- Engage with parents through regular progress updates and parent-teacher meetings, ensuring that students receive support at home.
- Develop and implement assessments that measure student learning and progress in Social Science.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities that promote social awareness and community engagement.
- Utilize local resources and field trips to make Social Science learning relevant and meaningful to students.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect for diversity.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives that promote social responsibility and community service.
- Stay updated with curriculum changes and implement them effectively in the classroom.
Who Can Apply
Applicants should possess a postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related field, with a valid B.Ed. degree. Previous experience in Social Science teaching, preferably in a school setting, is essential. Fluency in Hindi and English is a must.
