PGT Mathematics Teacher Vacancy in Raipur at Salem English School is now accepting applications for a full-time position to join our team of experienced educators.
Role Summary
Salem English School seeks a highly qualified and experienced PGT Mathematics Teacher to teach Mathematics to students from class VI to XII. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment, developing and delivering lesson plans, and assessing student progress. The role requires a passion for Mathematics teaching, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
What You Will Do
1. Teach Mathematics to students from class VI to XII, following the curriculum set by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education.
2. Develop and deliver lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
3. Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and teachers.
4. Conduct regular class tests and evaluations to track student performance.
5. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results.
6. Communicate with parents and teachers to ensure student progress and well-being.
7. Participate in school events and activities, such as parent-teacher meetings and curriculum development workshops.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new teaching methods and materials.
9. Stay updated with the latest developments in Mathematics education and integrate them into teaching practices.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field (e.g., M.Sc., M.A.).
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree.
- Valid CTET or TET certification.
Good to Have:
- Experience in teaching Mathematics to students from class VI to XII.
- Familiarity with the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education curriculum.
- Knowledge of computer-based teaching tools and software.
