What You Will Do

2. Design and evaluate unit tests, term exams, and periodic assessments.
3. Organize classroom discussions on modern Indian history, world history, and historiography.
4. Guide students in project work and research-based assignments on historical themes.
5. Conduct remedial sessions for students needing additional support in History.
6. Integrate digital tools like maps, timelines, and document excerpts into lessons.
7. Maintain accurate attendance, marks, and academic records for History classes.
8. Participate in history fairs, quiz competitions, and heritage walks organized by the school.
9. Attend monthly department meetings and contribute to curriculum review discussions.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in History with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from an NCTE-recognized institution.
Minimum 3 years of full-time teaching experience in History at senior secondary level.
Familiarity with CBSE syllabus and examination patterns in History.
Valid teaching eligibility as per Delhi government norms.
Good to Have
Master’s degree in History with specialization in Ancient or Modern Indian History.
Experience in teaching at reputed schools in Delhi or NCR.
TET or CTET certification with History as a subject.
Proficiency in creating digital content for history lessons.
Participation in history workshops or subject-specific training programs.
