Mathematics (NTT) Vacancy in Preet Vihar, East Delhi, Delhi
SCHOLARS GLOBAL SCHOOL
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated NTT Mathematics Teacher for our premium pre-primary wing in a Tier 3 city. The role focuses on introducing foundational mathematical concepts to young learners aged 3 to 6 years. You will be responsible for building early numeracy, logical reasoning, and spatial awareness using the play-way method and interactive tools. The objective is to make math enjoyable and accessible through hands-on activities rather than rote learning.
Professional Development
Teachers in this role will participate in 50 hours of mandatory professional development annually, focusing on the latest Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) frameworks and NEP 2020 numeracy standards. We maintain a strict student-teacher ratio of 15:1 to ensure every child receives individual guidance. Class sizes are capped at a maximum of 30 students, and every lead teacher is supported by a full-time classroom assistant to manage logistics and student safety.
Opportunity Highlights
This position is open to candidates with a Graduation degree in any stream, though a B.Sc or B.A. with a mathematical background is preferred. A recognized certification in NTT (Nursery Teacher Training) or ECCE is required. No TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) is required for this foundational stage role. You will have the opportunity to work with high-end Montessori manipulatives and digital learning resources rarely available in Tier 3 locations.
KPIs and Outcomes
The primary measurable outcome is that 90 percent of the cohort must demonstrate mastery of age-appropriate numeracy skills, such as number recognition, basic sorting, and pattern identification, by the end of the academic year. You will be evaluated on the successful implementation of 40 weekly lesson plans that integrate kinesthetic learning. Another key metric is the completion of detailed monthly developmental portfolios for every student in your care.
Performance Expectations
You are expected to maintain a 95 percent attendance rate for all scheduled classes and parent-teacher interactions. Performance will be measured through quarterly classroom observations where a minimum score of 4 out of 5 on the Teacher Engagement Scale is required. You must achieve a 90 percent positive feedback rating from parents regarding their childs interest in mathematics. Timely submission of digitized progress reports and active participation in at least three school events per year are mandatory.
Salary and Compensation
The monthly gross salary for this position is between 18,000 and 25,000 INR, which is highly competitive for a Tier 3 city. In addition to the base pay, the package includes an annual performance bonus of up to 10 percent of the CTC based on KPI fulfillment. Benefits include Employee Provident Fund (EPF), subsidized meals during school hours, and free transport facilities. Staff children are eligible for a 50 percent tuition fee waiver at the school.
