Your Students
As a PGT Chemistry teacher, you will work with students from grades 11 and 12, preparing them for the CBSE board exams. Our students come from a range of socio-economic backgrounds, and we recognize the importance of adapting teaching methods to meet their unique needs. You will be expected to create an inclusive classroom environment in East Delhi, promoting critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills among your students.
What You Will Do
You will be responsible for:
* Teaching Chemistry to students in grades 11 and 12, including theory and practical classes
* Developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities
* Conducting regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress
* Providing individualized support and feedback to students who require additional assistance
* Collaborating with colleagues to plan and implement departmental activities and projects
* Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results
* Participating in staff meetings and contributing to school-wide initiatives and decisions
* Developing and implementing differentiated instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities
* Supporting students with learning difficulties, including those with special needs
Required Qualifications
* Master's degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.) or related field from a recognized university
* B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized institution
* NET or SET qualification in Chemistry (preferred)
* Experience working in a CBSE-affiliated school (desired)
Preferred Skills
* Inclusive pedagogy and experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
* Patience, empathy, and effective communication skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with varying abilities
* Strong academic record and knowledge of Chemistry curriculum
