Your Responsibilities (Entry-level)
Conduct daily English language classes for Grades 9–12 following the prescribed curriculum.
Prepare daily lesson plans aligned to CBSE/ICSE standards.
Assess students through formative and summative tools, maintain portfolios, and provide constructive feedback.
Organize fortnightly literary activities such as debates, extempore, and creative writing contests.
Collaborate with co-teachers to integrate cross-curricular themes and project-based learning.
Maintain classroom discipline and ensure 100 % attendance through proactive parent communication.
Participate in weekly mentorship circles and reflective practice sessions.
Performance Expectations (Learnable competencies)
Deliver at least 90 % of scheduled instructional hours without substitution.
Achieve a student feedback score of 4.2/5 by the end of the first semester.
Demonstrate continuous improvement in classroom management as measured by bi-monthly mentor observations.
Complete two online certification courses (EdTech tools, inclusive pedagogy) within six months.
Present a term-end reflective portfolio showcasing two innovative lesson plans and student work samples.

After 12 months of satisfactory performance, eligible teachers can apply for Senior PGT roles or move into curriculum design and teacher-training tracks.
