Day-to-Day Duties
* Design and implement engaging Physical Education lesson plans that cater to students' diverse needs
* Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative learning environment
* Develop and implement school sports teams and extracurricular programs to promote healthy competition and teamwork
* Collaborate with peers to develop and implement school-wide initiatives, such as fitness weeks and sports festivals
* Engage with local community organizations to provide opportunities for students to participate in sports and physical activities
* Conduct regular progress assessments and provide constructive feedback to students
* Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures
* Develop and implement a comprehensive Physical Education curriculum that meets the needs of students in grades 6-12
* Mentor junior Physical Education teachers to support their professional growth and development
Required Qualifications
* Postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field
* B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification
* NET or SET certification (desirable)
* Strong understanding of Physical Education curriculum and assessment strategies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
* Strong organizational and time management skills
