Role Summary

Your Students
Our students come from diverse backgrounds in East Delhi, with a strong focus on academics and extracurricular activities. As a PGT Political Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping their perspectives and preparing them for their future careers.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Political Science to senior secondary students, covering topics from Indian Politics to International Relations.
- Prepare students for board exams, including setting and assessing assignments, quizzes, and exams.
- Engage with parents through regular progress reports, parent-teacher meetings, and email updates.
- Participate in departmental and school-level activities, such as workshops, seminars, and competitions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes and improvements.
- Mentor junior teachers and provide feedback on their teaching practices.
- Contribute to the overall academic vision and goals of Vivekanand International Sr. Sec. School.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Political Science or related field (M.A./M.Sc.).
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree.
- NET/SET qualification is desirable.
- 2 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school.
