About Fair Child Sr Sec School

Fair Child Sr. Sec. School sits on a busy corner of Preet Vihar, where the hum of Delhi’s traffic blends with the chatter of children spilling out of the playground each afternoon. The building itself is a mix of bright classrooms, a modest library that still smells of fresh paint, and a science lab that hums with the occasional fizz of a chemistry experiment. As a teacher here, you quickly learn that the day begins with the clatter of school bells at 8 am, followed by a quick huddle in the staff room where colleagues exchange lesson plans and the latest news from the CBSE board. The atmosphere is practical and grounded; we are not chasing lofty slogans but simply trying to make each lesson understandable and relevant for the kids who walk through our gates.

Our students are a mix of children from the surrounding colonies—some come from families that have lived in Preet Vihar for generations, others are newcomers attracted by the school’s reputation for steady academic results. They are curious, often asking questions that surprise even the most experienced teachers, and they respond well to a teacher who can connect a math problem to the everyday market stalls they see on their way home. Most of them are comfortable with English and Hindi, and many have a basic familiarity with digital tools, which means you can blend traditional chalk‑board teaching with occasional smart‑board activities without much friction.

In the classroom you will find a schedule that balances the CBSE core subjects with periods for art, physical education, and occasional community projects. Assessment is regular but not overwhelming; monthly tests are followed by constructive feedback sessions where teachers discuss progress with parents. The senior staff encourages collaborative planning, so you will often sit with a small team to design interdisciplinary units—perhaps linking a history lesson on the Mughal era with a creative writing assignment or a science experiment on water conservation that ties into the school’s modest garden. There is a genuine effort to keep paperwork to a minimum, allowing you to spend more time actually teaching.

Beyond the classroom, the school organizes modest cultural events, inter‑school competitions, and occasional field trips to places like the National Science Centre or local heritage sites. The administration is approachable; the principal makes it a point to walk the corridors, listen to teacher concerns, and support professional development through occasional workshops. If you enjoy a setting where you can see the direct impact of your work on a close‑knit community, where the pace is
