Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement curriculum for English classes from classes VI to X
- Teach English to students of classes VI to X
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure student progress
- Provide individualized attention to students with special needs
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive education
- Mentor junior staff members to improve their teaching skills
- Analyze board results to identify areas of improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student performance
- Participate in school events and activities to promote English language skills
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to keep parents informed about student progress
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized university
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in English
- NET or SET in English or a related subject (preferably)
- Strong understanding of curriculum development and implementation
- Excellent teaching and communication skills
- Able to motivate and inspire students to learn
- Strong organizational and time management skills
