Role Summary

How You Will Teach (specific to English — practical methods, tools, lab or activity work)

You will also be required to use digital tools, such as educational apps and multimedia resources, to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities (8 duties specific to English teaching)
- Develop and implement English lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor students' progress and adjust teaching strategies
- Create engaging classroom activities, such as debates, role-playing, and storytelling, to foster students' love for the subject
- Use digital tools, such as educational apps and multimedia resources, to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide English events and activities
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student performance in English
- Conduct regular parent-teacher meetings to keep parents informed about their child's progress
- Participate in school-wide academic planning and coordination
Eligibility (English-specific degrees and certifications)
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a post-graduate degree in English Literature or English Language and Literature, and a B.Ed. degree. You must also be a graduate in English and a B.Ed. degree holder. NET/SET qualified candidates will be given preference.

- Strong command over English language and literature
- Ability to develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to use digital tools, such as educational apps and multimedia resources, to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
