About This Role
We are hiring a highly qualified and experienced TGT Sanskrit Teacher to join our faculty at Sneh International School in Preet Vihar, East Delhi. As a TGT Sanskrit Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Sanskrit to students from Class 6 to 10 and preparing them for assessments and exams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach Sanskrit to students from Class 6 to 10, following the CBSE curriculum and Sneh International School's guidelines.
2. Prepare and deliver engaging lessons, using a range of teaching methods, including practical activities, group discussions, and collaborative learning.
3. Assess student performance regularly, using a variety of assessment tools, including quizzes, tests, and projects.
4. Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
5. Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement the school's curriculum and assessment policies.
6. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to develop your teaching skills and stay updated on the latest teaching methods.
7. Contribute to the development of the school's Sanskrit department, including planning and implementing extracurricular activities and events.
Required Qualifications
* Master's degree in Sanskrit or a related subject (e.g., M.A. Sanskrit, M.A. Languages)
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education)
* NET or SET qualification in Sanskrit or a related subject (optional but desirable)
* 3 years of experience in teaching Sanskrit to students from Class 6 to 10
* Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment policies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
