The PGT Fine Arts Teacher at Tagore International School | Delhi will design and implement engaging art curriculum across grades, ensuring alignment with national education standards. You will develop lesson plans that incorporate traditional and contemporary fine arts, fostering both technical skills and artistic appreciation. Classroom instruction will include drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art, with a focus on hands-on learning experiences. Collaborate closely with the art department to organize school-wide art festivals, exhibitions, and cultural events that celebrate student creativity. Maintain a dynamic classroom environment where students explore diverse artistic mediums while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ensure compliance with school policies on student safety, discipline, and academic integrity during all artistic activities. Assess student progress through creative projects, portfolios, and periodic evaluations, providing constructive feedback to help them grow. Participate in professional development workshops and stay updated on emerging trends in fine arts education to enhance teaching methods. Support the school’s inclusive policies by adapting lessons for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring equal opportunities for all. Act as a mentor to junior faculty and students, sharing insights on best practices in fine arts teaching.
Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in Fine Arts or a related field with at least four years of teaching experience in schools. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly recommended for this role. Candidates should demonstrate a strong portfolio of artistic work and teaching experience in Fine Arts. The selected candidate will be offered a full-time position in New Delhi, with a competitive salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000 per month, along with benefits such as performance-based allowances and opportunities for professional growth within Tagore International School | Delhi’s dynamic educational ecosystem.
